Acceptable Use Policy
The Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) for the halal.host platform. The customer contract forbids hosting haram content — below is exactly what is off-limits and what happens in case of a violation.
By hosting resources on halal.host, the customer accepts these terms. They supplement the public service agreement and take precedence on matters of acceptable use.
What is forbidden: haram
The platform may not be used to host content or carry out activity that conflicts with the ethical norms of Islam. In particular, the following are forbidden:
- Gambling — casinos, sports betting, lotteries.
- Adult content — pornography, indecent imagery.
- Promotion of alcohol, tobacco or pork.
- Content that insults Islamic values or incites violence.
What else is forbidden
Beyond haram, our general acceptable-use rules also prohibit:
- Unlawful content and activity under the legislation of the Russian Federation.
- Spam mailings, phishing, malware, attempts to gain unauthorized access to others’ systems.
- Activity that places an excessive load on the infrastructure or interferes with other customers.
- Concealing or falsifying information about hosted resources during a review.
Responding to violations
The content of hosted sites is moderated. If material that breaches these terms is found, access to the resource is suspended. Depending on the nature of the violation, we may notify the customer and require the violation to be fixed; for gross or repeated violations, we may terminate the contract. We may report unlawful content to the competent authorities in the manner established by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version is always available at this address; the revision date is shown at the top of the document. We try to give advance notice of material changes.
